Japanese Universities Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, the President of Salahaddin University, received Mr. Hitoshi Yazaki, the First Secretary in the Japanese Embassy inBaghdad. The University President welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of academic relations with Japanese universities to utilize the advances achieved by the Japanese academic institutions.

Five International Universities Attend Scientific Workshop in Erbil

Five International Universities Attend Scientific Workshop in Erbil

SU—A Scientific Workshop on Sustainable Development was held in Salahaddin University's Cultural & Social Centre. Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, President of Salahaddin University-Hawler (SU); SU Vice-Presidents;

several SU College Deans and Professors attended the Workshop. Apart from Salahaddin University, four other universities have participated in the said Workshop, among them are: University of Massachusetts Boston; Oslo University College, Faculty of Engineering; Canadian University of Dubai; and University of Wolverhampton – UK.

The aim of the Workshop is to create a shared platform for developments and reconstruction planning pursuant to international standards for the new projects.

During the first day of the workshop, all of the above-mentioned universities delivered their speeches. The final day of the workshop will be dedicated to tackling and evaluating the projects.
